In the first book, Molly heads to New York after hypnotizing the crowd and the judges at the talent show. she receives some money, and buys a ticket on a plane. She lands, and asks a taxi to take her "to the center." He takes her to Manhattan, and Molly books the presidential suite at the Waldorf. Molly, realizing she's running out of money, hypnotizes Barry Brag and Rixey Bloomey. Molly steal's Davina Nuttel's place in Stars on Mars. Molly hypnotizes the crowd preforming Stars on Mars, but Professor Nockman kidnaps Petula in his plan to get the book from Molly. Molly also finds Rocky and pulls off the Shorings Bank Heist in New York.
